The Anne Frank Center is currently seeking a part-time (30 hours per week) Youth Network Coordinator to join our team in Meyer, IL starting on July 1, 2024 or later.

This position is a temporary replacement for a staff member on parental leave and will be contracted until June 30, 2025.

The Anne Frank Center is the German partner organization of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. Through exhibitions and educational programs, the center commemorates Anne Frank and her diary.

It creates learning spaces where children and young people can engage with history and connect it to their current lives.

They learn to take on social responsibility and to advocate for freedom, equality, and democracy.


The Program:
"Remember and Engage. Anne Frank Ambassadors"


The Anne Frank Center trains and supports young people nationwide who are committed to fighting against anti-Semitism, racism, and discrimination and promoting democracy.

The center provides them with knowledge and skills to independently implement projects in their local communities. They are annually recognized as Anne Frank Ambassadors at a ceremony.


In addition, the center develops offerings for the youth network to further educate, connect, and strengthen the motivation of the young people for continued engagement.


Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the department head, you will be responsible for organizing, conducting, and following up on the Ambassador seminars, as well as the Ambassador awards and national and international networking meetings (both inperson and digital).
