Then the profession of Physician Assistant is a great opportunity to further qualify yourself in the medical field and combine your nursing knowledge with medical expertise. You will act as an important link between doctors and all other professions involved in patient care. The program will prepare you to take on medical tasks and relieve treating physicians. You will monitor the treatment plan, conduct patient conversations, handle requests from the medical service, perform medical procedures, and assist in surgical procedures. Physician Assistants have the formal requirement to independently carry out delegable medical tasks. You will be optimally prepared for this in various areas.

Practical training

Practical training can currently be completed at the locations of Sindelfingen, Böblingen, Leonberg, Calw, or Nagold.

Study days

The theoretical training takes place at the DHBW in Karlsruhe.
