Description

As an industrial mechanic, you will be responsible for manufacturing and maintaining machines and production systems. This includes assembling components into subassemblies and then into machines and equipment, using technical drawings as a guide. The components are processed both manually and with the use of conventional and CNC machine tools. You will also be responsible for testing the subassemblies and the final machines for proper functioning and commissioning them. Additionally, you will perform regular inspections and maintenance on the machines.

Your tasks as an industrial mechanic:
  • Organizing and monitoring production processes
  • Maintaining and repairing machines and production systems
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on operating equipment
  • Producing spare parts using CNC machines
The training process:

Start and duration of training

  • Starts on September 1st
  • 3 1/2 years (can be shortened by 6 months with exceptional performance)

Training stations

  • Practical training takes place at Industriepark Kalle-Albert
  • Additional classes and specialized seminars at InfraServ Wiesbaden Education Center

Vocational school

  • Friedrich-Ebert-Schule, Wiesbaden
  • 1 day per week in
