    This is a promotional/open opportunity, which means that current monthly-salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list. For a promotional/open posting, the top ten internal applicants will be provided unless there is an insufficient number and then the list will be supplemented with the top external applicants to make up the ten (Employment Regulations for the Classified Service of the San Diego Unified School District: Article 2, Section 9).

    Analyze mid-level and complex workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due; ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices; and identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.

    Upon board approval, there will be one (1) Full-Time, 12 month position available.

    Minimum Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to an Associate's degree in business, public administration, or related field from an accredited institution and three (3) years of recent, related experience. Claims management experience preferred.

  • EXAMINATION PROCESS:

    Exams will be conducted remotely utilizing an online testing platform. Exam information will be communicated to candidates via email. Access to the internet and the use of a camera-ready desktop/laptop with a microphone are required to participate in these processes.
