Director of Finance (m/f/d):

Compensation will be based on personal qualifications up to pay grade 13 TV-L.

Your responsibilities will include the following areas:

  • Management of the Finance Department
  • Conducting the budgeting process for the university
  • Financial management of assigned budgets and thirdparty funds
  • Preparation of the annual financial statements according to HGB (including audit according to 53 HGrG) and cooperation with the auditing firm for the annual audit and examination of the cashbased financial statements
  • Ensuring compliance with all tax obligations, especially valueadded tax (including 2 and 2b UStG) and income taxes, as well as implementing an internal control system TaxCMS (Tax Compliance Management System)
  • Implementation of the EU subsidy regulation
  • Further development of the universityspecific foundations of commercial accounting
  • Implementation and further development of cost and performance accounting for the university

Requirements:


  • Indepth knowledge of business administration and tax law based on a university degree (diploma/master)
