Team Leader R&D Corrosion Protection (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

  • You will take on the technical and organizational leadership of the development team for corrosion protection coatings, such as aqueous and low-temperature systems for coating metallic substrates.
  • Development, technical support and maintenance of the portfolio, as well as ensuring the corresponding technical documents and certificates.
  • You identify market trends (customers, products, competition, suppliers, application markets) such as sustainability and steer their development accordingly.
  • You define and optimize processes and systems in the areas of development, customer service, quality and support digitalization.
  • Close coordination and collaboration within the company, both regionally and internationally.
  • Representation and introduction of your developments to customers.

Experience/Knowledge/Personality/Education:

  • As a hands-on developer, you already have professional experience (>5 years) in a development position in the paint industry, in a customer or quality control laboratory.
  • Preferably first leadership experience (>3 years) in managing a small laboratory.
