The Chemical and Veterinary Examination Office Rhein-Ruhr-Wupper (CVUA-RRW) is a public institution responsible for official laboratory testing in the field of consumer health protection.

The position is located in the Department 30 "Consulting and Evaluation" within the newly structured Section 30-1 "Sample Logistics, Sample Reception and Registration".

In this department, all incoming samples of food, feed, cosmetics and consumer goods, as well as animal health samples, are accepted, registered, processed and forwarded to other examination offices.

To support documentation and workflow processes, the CVUA-RRW uses a laboratory information and management system.

The work is currently carried out by 14 employees in three teams, who are responsible for the acceptance and initial processing of more than 36,000 samples from the LFGB sector and approximately 20,000 submissions from the animal health sector.
