The city of Cloverdale is currently seeking a
Coordinator/Specialist (m/f/d) for Citizenship and Name Change Law for the
Citizen Office department, to start as soon as possible.

This is a full-time position, with a salary according to EGr 9c TVöD or BGr A 10 BayBesG.

The position is initially temporary, covering a parental leave, with the possibility of continued employment in the field of citizenship and name change law afterwards.


The responsibilities of this position include coordinating and handling all matters related to citizenship and name changes, as well as background work.

This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating the citizenship and name change department, processing applications for German citizenship through naturalization, determining acquisition or loss of German citizenship, processing applications for public name changes, issuing naturalization certificates, citizenship cards, and name change certificates, and maintaining local and regional electronic databases using specialized software.


The ideal candidate for this position should have the necessary qualifications for the third level of the administrative and financial career path for civil servants (m/f/d), or have passed the second level of the professional examination for employees (m/f/d).
