The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration in Webster City, IA is seeking to fill several positions in the higher civil service (pay group E 13 TV-L) with full-time lawyers (m/f/d) in the Department 1 (Internal Services) in the departments 13 (Law) and 15 (Personnel Matters Public Health Service and Supply Administration) at the earliest possible date.

The tasks include in particular:
Department "Law"
- general legal matters, insofar as they are not handled by the specialist departments, in particular individual questions of data protection law, subsidy law, contract law, copyright law and freedom of information law,
- coordination of legal matters affecting several departments of the ministry,
- participation in the drafting of laws and regulations of the ministry from a fundamental legal perspective,
- advising the specialist departments on procurement law at every stage of the procurement process, in-house training and participation in inter-ministerial working groups,
- specialist supervision of the implementation of the commercial part of the Prostitution Protection Act.

Department "Personnel Matters Public Health Service and Supply Administration"
- handling of legal issues and accompanying procedures within the responsibility of the ministry for the personnel of the higher civil service in the health and supply offices, in particular from civil service and collective bargaining law,
- personnel administration, measures for personnel recruitment and development, personnel cost reimbursement.
