JOB PURPOSE:The Zone Inventory Manager is responsible for defining and creating the standard warehouse and inventory management processes and supports the Directors of Operations Fulfillment and Directors of Service Fulfillment within the specified zone to achieve inventory, production and warehouse operational goals and objectives. This position provides input, leadership and guidance to VPs and Directors to influence strategic and operational decisions that affect the functional areas of responsibility (Supply Chain, Inventory and Warehouse Management and Operations) within their specified zone - Central, Southeast, Northeast or West.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Implement tools and systems for reporting, tracking, audit, and analysis of inventory related metrics to zone leaders and warehouse personnel.
  • Establish standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency.
  • Communicate frequently and consistently with zone leaders and warehouse personnel.
  • Implement policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce shrinkage/loss.
  • Communicate with suppliers and local staff to ensure inventory is returned or resold.
  • Plan, schedule, forecast, and control physical inventory operations.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory utilization and develop best practices.
  • Participate in onsite training when necessary.
  • Lead ERP projects and ensures successful implementation/transition.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • Three (3) years of supply chain/inventory management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with focus on set priorities.

  • Frequent use of hand and fingers for firm grasping and fine manipulation.
  • Travel is required, up to 25% of time.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Pay Range:
$65,000/year

- $80,000/year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
