Click Here to learn more about the incredible benefits of working for the County of Riverside**The Riverside County Flood Control & Water Conservation District is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join their Contract Services Section as a Contracts Specialist and Administrator I/II.
The Contracts Specialist and Administrator I/II is a working title for the Flood Control Contracts Analyst I/II.
- Experience in land development, real estate or as a paralegal/legal assistant is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and right of way plats.
- Ability to read and interpret insurance related documents.
- Ability to comprehend and write technical and nontechnical language into clear and concise documentation for public agencies and clients.
- Ability to negotiate with other public agencies and attorneys to reach agreement on terms.
The Flood Control Contracts Analyst I is distinguished from the Flood Control Contracts Analyst II in that the latter is the journey level in the professional Flood Control Contracts Analyst series.
The Flood Control Contracts Analyst I is further distinguished from the Flood Control Contracts Analyst II in that the latter performs duties requiring greater technical knowledge with mínimal supervision or guidance.
The Flood Control Contracts Analyst I is a natural progression underfill for the Flood Control Contracts Analyst II.Incumbents are eligible to promote to the Flood Control Contracts Analyst II upon successful completion of their probationary period, which would include a satisfactory performance evaluation and any additional qualification requirements.
