This is a Union Represented Position

The pay range is $ $25.00 per an hour

Do you match this skillset?

  • Efficiently transfer passenger luggage from aircraft or conveyer belt to staged carts or designated drop off areas within allotted time frames.
  • Operate a TUG safely, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Utilize a baggage Scanner efficiently.
  • Read and understand bag tag information.
  • Maintain a high level of a focus and curiosity in a fastpaced and changing environment.
  • Consistently maintain work areas and ensure the proper care of equipment.
  • Execute tasks with safety and compliance at the forefront at all times and report potential hazards and threats.
  • Requires a commitment to safety and service to help ensure passengers' baggage gets properly transferred into staged carts and to the appropriate destination
  • Knowledge of operation and industrial equipment and previous experience preferred.

The must haves to join our team:


  • Obtaining and maintaining an airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting, and successful completion of the Airport Operations Area written test within the first 2 attempts required:

Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and one of the following documents to be qualified for this position:

  • Original or certified copy of a birth certificate
  • Unexpired US Passport
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Unexpired US Territory Passport and I9
  • Able to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
  • Performing work according to set procedures
  • Anticipating the needs of others in a fastpaced environment
  • Understanding and ability to utilize electronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
  • Performing basic mathematical functions (e.g., counting bags, verifying cargo weights)
  • Ability to give/receive oral instructions in English
  • Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have the ability to operate and get into equipment safely

Airport SIDA Badge Requirements

  • Important update for noncrew employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. General Physical Demands Summary


  • This position requires significant physical agility and physical mobility.
  • Must comfortably, frequently, continuously, and within short timelines: lift, carry, and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods of time; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts, and stand for extended periods.
  • Safety is our number one concern, and we provide personal safety gear for use on the job.
  • The work environment is full of activity, fastpaced, and often noisy for eight hours or more per workday with occasional exposure to the elements.
