We are currently seeking candidates for our 3-year dual study program for a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics (m/f/d) at DB Fernverkehr AG in Munich, starting on October 1st, 2024. Your theory phases will take place at DHBW Stuttgart, with alternating periods of 3 months between theory and practical experience.
What to expect:
Theory phases include:

Basic knowledge in mathematics and natural sciences
Introduction to the fundamentals of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science
Understanding of mechatronic systems, modeling and control technology, and software development
Specialization in specific areas of mechatronics to round out your studies

Practical phases include:

Participation in projects related to vehicle technology and maintenance of ICE trains and electric locomotives
Learning about railway vehicles and their components, such as bogies, operational control systems, and interior design
Familiarization with current challenges in train technology and developing solutions to prevent
