Position

The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being of all New Yorkers.

To this end, in partnership with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), FPHNYC incubates innovative public health initiatives implemented by DOHMH to advance community health throughout the city.

It facilitates partnerships, often new and unconventional, between government and the private sector to develop, test, and launch new initiatives.

These collaborations speed the execution of demonstration projects, effect expansion of successful pilot programs, and support rapid implementation to meet the public health needs of individuals, families, and communities across New York City


Position Details:


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management
  • Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests
  • Perform statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and run queries
  • Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data
  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS

Requirements:

3+ years' experience in a Human Resources Information systems role required.

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required.
  • Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Human resources processes and data, HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes and have experience with database tools (must be systems minded).
  • Experience in creating training materials and user guides and supporting delivery of training.
  • Strong data analysis and insights.
  • Experience in process mapping preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, balanced with an appreciation of the biggerpicture goals and objectives.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range is $60,000 to $70,000

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hybrid schedule:
Three days remote and two days in office.
