We are looking for you as a financial accountant (m/f/d) Full-time/part-time

The Hagenbeck Zoo is the largest family-run zoo in Germany. Its name has stood for over 120 years for the special mix of spacious park areas with barrier-free enclosures, animals from all over the world, and cultural buildings. In 2012, the popular Arctic Sea was created. In a total of more than five million liters of water, the animals of the Arctic and Antarctic can be observed both above and below water. Since 2007, visitors have also been fascinated by the Hagenbeck Tropical Aquarium: on 8,000 square meters, more than 2,000 animal inhabitants can be explored in foreign and hidden tropical habitats.

Your tasks:

As a financial accountant at the zoo, you will be responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable, maintain the cash book, and record bank statements. You will also prepare and submit the sales tax pre-registration. General administrative tasks are also part of your responsibilities.

What we expect from you:

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification
  • You have already gained initial professional experience in accounting
  • You are proficient in using MS Office and ideally have experience with Datev
  • You work reliably and carefully
