- Provide administrative and project support for the Senior Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Assist the Senior Director, DE&I to produce reports and presentations (data manipulation, editing), provide documents, information, data analysis and tracking as needed and requested.
- Provide customer service as a point of contact for employees, assisting, and answering DE&I questions as needed. Address and answer DE&I questions received via phone and email to the DE&I department.
- Support, promote, and lead DE&I plans and initiatives that enables the Coverys to progress on goals.
- Partner with the Senior Director, DE&I to provide input into the development and coordination of programs and initiatives to drive and integrate DE&I practices throughout Coverys
- Provide support to DE&I Advisory Council and Employee Resource Groups as part of DE&I initiatives and programs, including help coordinate events and schedule meetings.
- Support the research, development and implementation of DE&I policies and programs.
- Work with outside business partners to source information for, and maintain inventories of, diversity training/workshop providers and other diversity-related topics.
- Order and maintain department office supplies, coordinate shipments, submission of purchase orders, invoice processing, and general facilities requests.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- One-year experience as a DE&I Coordinator or relevant experience in human resources/administrative experience.
- Strong ability in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of working in an insurance company, but not necessary.
- Ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to set priorities, multitask and remain calm and focused in a quickly changing environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle data and information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Description
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Coordinator provides administrative and project support to the Senior Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and DE&I team. The DE&I Coordinator is a key contributor and active participant in the facilitation of the DE&I programs and functions as a point of contact to all employees. The DE&I coordinator will work with the Senior Director, DE&I and company resource groups to leverage data and metrics to monitor our DE&I priorities, define and measure success, and influence change at Coverys. The DE&I Coordinator will work with the Senior Director, DE&I to integrate information from multiple sources in order to encourage agenda setting for meetings of the DE&I Advisory Council.
