We are looking for a Deputy Director to join our team at Sterntaler Straße full-day care in Bay Head, NJ.


Your responsibilities with us:

  • As Deputy Director, you will work together with the Director to:
  • actively shape the excellent cooperation with the school
- support the management of the pedagogical team, personnel planning
- handle administrative tasks (bookings, contracts, lists, budget planning, etc.)
- manage and coordinate daily operational processes
- ensure compliance with work safety, child protection, and data protection
- expand and support project work
- ensure sufficient staffing
- contribute to meeting regulatory and school requirements


Your qualifications:

  • Completed training as an educator, social worker, or similar degree
  • Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, email correspondence)
  • Ability to provide clear structures, even in difficult situations
  • Resilience and ability to structure and reflect on oneself
  • Ability to make decisions and present oneself confidently
  • Experience in working in fullday care
  • Conflict resolution skills and participative leadership style
