Brooklyn Soap Company was founded in 2013 and is now available in over 5,000 stores (including dm, Rossmann, REWE).

In addition, we have a fantastic online community and are building our online shop into a platform for all men's needs, both in the bathroom and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • You will independently handle ongoing financial accounting, including recording, booking, and verifying documents.
  • You will also be responsible for conducting payment transactions and monitoring open items.
  • You will create outgoing invoices and assist with accounts receivable accounting.
  • Preparing the sales tax prepayment and participating in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements are also part of your responsibilities.
  • As an allrounder, you will also support with all administrative tasks related to accounting.

Qualifications:

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or have a comparable qualification in accounting.
  • You have solid knowledge of financial accounting and enjoy working with digital accounting software (e.g. DATEV Unternehmen Online).
  • Good knowledge of sales tax law is an advantage.
  • You work in a structured and independent manner with high accuracy.
  • Teamwork and communication skills are a given for you.
  • Good German language skills round off your profile.
