- Physically fit and able to carry up to 40 pounds of gear while hiking in the backcountry for up to 8 hours a day. Must be a proficient swimmer and be able to tread water for at least 5 minutes.

Give specific examples of your training and experience related to sampling fish in freshwater systems, stream habitat typing, boating experience, water quality and flow monitoring, experience working with stakeholders, governmental agencies, non-governmental agencies, and within multi-disciplinary groups.

Desirable Qualifications
- Possession of a valid driver license with a good driving record; additional course work and experience in fisheries biology; interest in and knowledge of fishing and studying fish; experience in hiking, camping, backpacking, snorkeling, boating, and maintaining equipment; interest in a career in biology and fish and wildlife.
