The Historical Seminar of the Department 1 of Culture and Social Sciences at the University of Osnabrück is seeking a

Employee in the field of academic support (m/f/d)

(Salary group 13 TV-L, 50%):

in a permanent position for the Study Office starting on May 1st, 2024.


Your tasks:


  • Academic advising for all study programs offered by the Historical Seminar (Department of History)
  • Advising students of the Historical Seminar on general examination and study matters
  • Supporting the board and selfadministration of the Historical Seminar
  • Documenting academic advising for the department
  • Coordinating the digital offerings of the Historical Seminar

Requirements:


  • Completed academic degree (Master's or equivalent) in the field of History

Ideally, you have:


  • Knowledge of the structures of the Historical Seminar
  • Experience in academic advising
  • Experience with digital media
