Campaigner with a focus on climate justice in Childersburg, AL:


Your tasks will include:


The main task is to plan and implement a public campaign, funded by the European Union, to raise awareness about the link between the climate and development agenda, in order to support Oxfam's overarching goals of gender equality and poverty reduction.

The focus is on mobilizing for climate justice. You will be part of Oxfam Germany's Engagement and Campaigning team.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating, planning, and implementing campaign activities
  • Preparing expert content on the impact of climate change on people in poorer countries and current developments in German and international climate policy
  • Developing and implementing digital products and interactive actions
  • Producing printed and campaign materials
  • Designing and conducting workshops
  • Working closely with European project partners and participating in European networking meetings
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to thirdparty funders
  • Monitoring and evaluating activities
  • Integrating work into Oxfam International's network

Your qualifications:


  • Completed relevant vocational training or degree in development policy, social sciences, or communications
  • Several years of experience in practical campaigning and creative forms of action
  • Good expertise and work experience in climate policy and development, as well as the causes and consequences of climate change
  • Experience in practical campaigning and creative forms of action
  • Good knowledge of developing digital strategies and actions
  • Desirable: experience in project management
