Currently, we have around engineers working with us, for example in the modernization, maintenance, and procurement of rail vehicles and their components. As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you ensure that the largest rail fleet in Germany is always kept running at the highest quality.

We are currently looking for you as a System Manager Digital S-Bahn Hamburg (m/f/d) for S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH at our location in Hamburg.
This is a "Where you want" job: In consultation with your supervisor, you can choose your place of work within Germany and decide between mobile work and working in the office.
Your tasks:
  • As a system manager, you set the "switches" for projects to digitize the railway system in the area of automatic train control (e.g. ATO over ETCS)
  • In doing so, you analyze and model the requirements of a future digitized railway system in the Digital S-Bahn Hamburg project
  • You maintain a technical overview of, among other things, requirements management, specifications, and test strategy planning
  • For your project, you conduct professional stakeholder management, both within the company and externally
  • You coordinate technical decisions with subject matter experts and ensure successful implementation in the project
