Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of activities to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
  • Coordinate group activities, outings, and events tailored to the interests and abilities of seniors
  • Conduct oneonone sessions with residents who require individualized attention
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities align with residents' care plans
  • Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident progress
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents during activities

Experience:


  • Previous experience in dementia care, memory care, or senior care settings is preferred
  • Knowledge of aging issues counseling and recreational therapy techniques
  • Familiarity with assisting residents in activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt activities to accommodate varying cognitive and physical abilities

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
