We are currently seeking candidates for a 2-year apprenticeship as a Train Traffic Controller and optional further qualification as a Specialist for Railway Operations (m/f/d) at DB InfraGO AG in the Operations Center in Frankfurt (Main). The vocational school will take place in block form at the Heinrich-Kleyer

For your commute, you will receive free company travel tickets and, if needed, a student ticket for the state of Hesse. Additionally, some trainings and seminars will also be held digitally or online. During the practical training, you will work in both the early and late shifts. As an apprentice, you will be stationed in one of the many control centers of the railway (called "signal box") and learn the following tasks: You will observe and control train traffic with technical support, such as screens or display boards, to ensure that trains take the correct route. You will decide when trains should stop, go, or overtake. You will operate and adjust switches and light signals, thus influencing train traffic.
