The engineer develops and improves equipment requirements, designs, and specifications inclusive of mechanical, electrical hardware, and control systems as needed according to product and process requirements which have overall equipment effectiveness that enables efficient and effective manufacturing.
Job Duties Contribute to equipment development activities including requirements, equipment specifications, hardware and software design, build, debugging, acceptance and qualification.
Ensures robust, accurate, and complete documentation supporting elements of the development and build process. Responsible for the development and validation of capable production equipment that meet operational objectives.Evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment for opportunities to improve product and process reliability, cost, and efficiency though equipment and fixturing solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment as needed. All Other Essential Duties as directed.Job QualificationsRequired:
B.S. degree in Engineering or Physics, or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years with BS of industry experience with a proven track record of successful product development within a regulated product development environment.
Minimum of 2 years experience with MS. Experience bringing new equipment from conception through and qualification and beyond.Preferred:
Demonstrated ability of delivering effective and reliable equipment from an overall equipment effectiveness perspective. Experience in test method and equipment qualification. Strong documentation abilities to clearly and thoroughly document requirements, specifications, and test protocols. Working knowledge of core engineering tools.

Mechanical design, electrical schematics, OEE, Risk Analysis, process mapping, programming and logic.
