YOUR TASKS

  • Preparation of samples of metals and plastics/elastomers
  • Documentation of microstructure using microscopy
  • Independent application of instructed testing methods
  • Microscopic documentation of wear conditions
  • Conducting technical cleanliness testing and further microscopy for characterization
  • Creation of documentation, test reports, and statistics, as well as informing relevant departments about the results

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Successfully completed training or further education as a materials tester, metallographer, chemical laboratory technician, physical laboratory technician, or a comparable qualification (m/f/d)
  • Knowledge of physical and chemical testing methods for metals and plastics/elastomers, as well as structure-property relationships
  • Proficient in using microscopes and knowledge of microscopy techniques
