The Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW) is a renowned institution with over 300 years of history, dedicated to promoting dialogue between science and society. Our focus lies on fundamental research in the humanities and cultural sciences, interdisciplinary social and political consulting, and communicating science to the public.
The "Information Technology" (IT) division of the TELOTA - IT/DH department at BBAW is responsible for providing and maintaining central services and IT support for the digital operations of our administration, scientific research projects, archives, libraries, and interdisciplinary working groups. This includes supporting users of our IT services, as well as managing hardware components such as servers, storage, and networks. Our IT department operates multiple server rooms at various BBAW locations.
We are currently seeking a
Employee (m/f/d) User Support and Assistance
for a full-time position (divisible if necessary)

Your responsibilities

  • Providing IT support and assistance to users
  • Offering user-oriented support as part of first-level support
  • Responding to user inquiries regarding hardware, standard software, and established services
  • Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software
