The
Department of Psychiatry, Psychosomatics, and Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents at the LVR Clinic Viersen is the largest competence center in Germany with a total of 250 inpatient and day treatment places.

The day clinics of the department are located at various locations, including Viersen, Neuss, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, and Heinsberg. In addition, there is an outpatient clinic in Erkelenz.
