We are seeking a Flight Control Laws Engineer to join our team at Volocopter, the pioneers of electric air taxis.

Our company specializes in developing and producing aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs), bringing urban air mobility to life.

Our goal is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that provide a quick and safe mode of transportation in megacities around the world.

In 2011, we successfully performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircraft.


Job Description


Your mission as a Flight Control Laws Engineer:


In this role, you will be responsible for developing and tuning the control algorithms and model-based software for our real urban air mobility solution.

This includes designing and implementing safety-critical models and developing software to control and stabilize our aircraft.


We are looking for a Flight Control Laws Engineer with expertise in Model-Based Design (MBD) processes, including modeling, requirements tracing, code generation, validation, verification, and testing.

You should also have experience in software development following the V-model and be familiar with standards such as RTCA/DO-178C and DO-331.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will support the development process of the Flight Control Laws for the Volo
