The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 professions who want to become even better with us.

We are currently looking for you for a 2-1/2 year apprenticeship as a train controller (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the locations of Dormagen, Düsseldorf, Krefeld, Langenfeld (Rheinland), Mönchengladbach, Neuss or Wuppertal.

The vocational school is located in Duisburg. With this apprenticeship, you will become a coordinator for our trains. However, you will not be sitting on the train, but in a control center (called "signal box"). We have countless signal boxes all over Germany.

Through screens or boards, you can observe the trains in your area and use buttons, keys, and levers to influence their journey.

With the push of a button, you can set signals (traffic lights for the trains) to green or red and also switch points so that the trains can change tracks.

You will also have many other tasks that make you the most important team member for the train drivers. You will be in constant contact and exchange information, for example, about changes during the journey.
