Dual Study Program - Mechanical Engineering

The Bachelor's degree program in "Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Design or Production" consists of a seven-semester university program that focuses on fundamental and applied knowledge, particularly in the areas of design or production.

The program culminates in the academic degree of "Bachelor of Science." Students (m/f/d) are employed by a company from the beginning - during the semesters, they study at the university and during breaks, they complete work and training phases at the company, creating a duality between practical work and academic education.

The course of study at the university is determined by the curriculum and corresponding examination subjects.

The admission requirements for the program are a high school diploma (Abitur) or a technical college entrance qualification combined with a corresponding aptitude test. Good grades in mathematics and the natural sciences can make the program easier.
