The city of Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest school authorities in Hessen and is primarily responsible for ensuring that all children in Frankfurt have access to sufficient educational and childcare opportunities.

The City School Office fulfills the tasks of the public youth welfare provider and is responsible for ensuring and developing the quality and planning of the city's schools.

With our work, we make a significant contribution to making Frankfurt a "family city."

We are looking for a social pedagogue (m/f/d) for coordinating child protection in schools to join our team as soon as possible.

This position is available full-time or part-time, in accordance with EGr. 11 TVöD.

Your responsibilities will include:

Further development and implementation of the Frankfurt model for child and youth protection in schools, as well as the Frankfurt model for vocational schools "Protecting adolescents, supporting young adults," and the guidelines for action "Law, Protection, and Participation."
Advising and supporting schools and providers in developing protection concepts in accordance with § 3 para. 9 HSchG, as well as providing expert and legally sound guidance and monitoring in dealing with indications of boundary violations.
Qualifying child protection officers in schools.
Designing and conducting professional conferences.
