Responsibilities:


  • Optimize existing firmware
  • Develop new Android boot image using standard kernel and devicespecific device tree
  • Research and implement new firmware for our Qualcommbased device using AOSP, targeting Android 12/1
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with the development team

Requirements:


  • Experience with AOSP code base in a community or business setting
  • Indepth knowledge of Android build environment, platform tools (adb and fastboot), and shell commands
  • Familiarity with modded ROMs, preferably with experience building them from source
