In May 2021, the Senate of the German Research Foundation (DFG) approved the Priority Program 2364 "Autonomous Pro
which aims to research and test concepts for model-based control of particle technology processes at over 10 locations.

A priority program offers unique opportunities for work by involving the research topic in a network of the national and international specialist community of various fields.

As part of the SPP 2364, a sub-project on product design of spray-dried agglomerates is being worked on in the field of particle technology.

The goal is to use imaging on-line measurement technology to monitor the agglomerate properties in real time. Additional characterization methods include μ-computed tomography, which provides a detailed view of the pore structure of the agglomerates.
