- Establish and assist in planning, developing, coordinating, defending, and executing all aspects of the PMs' Life Cycle Logistics support in accordance with DoD acquisition and sustainment processes.
- Produce acquisition logistics documentation to support the PMs' products.
- Develop plans and projects, determine needs, investigate and resolve problems, interface with other functions and stakeholders, and manage functional areas.
- Assist in logistics automation using enterprise planning tools such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, etc., for acquisition and sustainment operations.
- Direct the activities of applicable stakeholders to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all life-cycle management functions.
- Provide Air Drop Liaison support in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Over 20 years of relevant experience.
- Thorough understanding of Life Cycle Logistics regulations and policies including DoD 5000 series, AR 70-1, AR , and AR
- Competency in communication, leadership, logistics automated systems, team management, and risk management.
- Serve as liaison between PM and airdrop community.
- Coordinate new materiel introductory briefings and new equipment training.
- Document and establish proper inspection and use procedures for parachute systems.
- Participate in developmental testing and operational testing of airdrop systems.
- Communicate with vendors and industry regarding the acquisition process and maintain awareness of the parachute industrial base.
- Certify parachute equipment maintainers on proper in-servicing, use, and maintenance of new equipment.
- Work with parachute user community to prevent and resolve parachute system technical issues.
- Conduct live jumps during parachute system testing.
- Provide physical drop zone coverage during standard and non-standard airborne operations.
- Provide malfunction and injury reporting as required.
