Description

Pine River is currently seeking a Head of Construction for a rapidly growing European Renewable Energy company that specializes in utility-scale solar and wind projects.

This role will be responsible for overseeing construction operations in Germany, where the company has a pipeline of 1.8GW of projects and has recently received additional investment from a private equity firm.

This is a crucial position within the organization, offering excellent opportunities for career development and a competitive compensation package.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with knowledge of HVDC and grid connection, as well as extensive experience in the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities include managing third-party vendors and collaborating in the tendering process for technical requirements and contract negotiations.

The candidate should also have a good understanding of project design drawings and be able to participate in discussions with designers and contractors.

They will be responsible for ensuring the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers, as well as preparing and controlling documentation for timely project construction.

Other duties include coordinating with the procurement department to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedures, scheduling project steps for efficient and cost-effective construction, and supervising and controlling design and construction requirements in accordance with building permits.

The candidate will also be responsible for reporting project status, recommending solutions, and informing the Board of potential risks.
