    Service Technician Position at Company X

    Description

    Job Summary:

    • Installs, maintains, and services company and vendor equipment at customer locations in response to service calls within established timeframes.
    • Possesses customer service skills to maintain positive customer relations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installs, maintains, and services equipment at customer locations.
    • Performs diagnostics and testing of ATMs to ensure performance meets specifications.
    • Enlists assistance when required to resolve complex problems.
    • Utilizes the Burroughs Process for high-quality service.
    • Advises customers on maintenance and configurations impacting product performance.
    • Handles follow-up services or problem escalation.
    • Maintains accurate parts inventory and service keys securely.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Understands and executes instructions.
    • Has basic PC skills, can operate a multi-meter, and basic hand and power tools.
    • Required valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.

    Education and Experience:

    • Entry-level position for Service Technicians.
    • Must hold a valid driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Report.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Demonstrates mechanical and technical aptitude.
    • Some technical school training preferred.

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

    • Operates in a field service environment covering client locations.
    • Exposure to varying weather conditions in indoor/outdoor environments.
    • Travels to customer locations by car, van, or public transportation.
    • Flexible work schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
    • Overtime may be required occasionally.
    • Ability to operate and climb on a step ladder.

    Compensation:
    Hourly wage range is $18.00 to $27.00 based on experience.
