Tasks of a plant mechanic (m/f/d)

  • Testing and expanding the functionality of systems used in container and apparatus construction, process industry, or supply technology
  • Manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of pipeline systems
  • Calculation of material usage for pipeline systems

What you should bring:

  • At least a good secondary school leaving certificate
  • Enjoyment of mathematics and physics
  • Thirst for knowledge, great sense of responsibility, and attention to detail
  • Enjoy working outdoors and being weather-resistant
  • Plenty of team spirit

What you can look forward to:

The training as a plant mechanic lasts a total of 3.5 years and takes place at the waterworks in Inheiden. Until the first part of the final exam, you will learn the basics of electrical engineering in our training workshop on the premises of the network control center "Bei der Warth" near Friedberg. You will also complete basic training in metalworking.

After passing the first part of the final exam, you will move on to specialized training.
