Become an Infrastructure Transformer Are you interested in mathematics, building materials, and technical processes? Then a dual study program in civil engineering at VAG is the perfect fit for you.

You will be involved in the planning and construction of public transportation infrastructure as well as the maintenance of building structures, always keeping in mind the public life and mobility in our city.


What to expect:

During the practical phases, you will gain insights into all construction-related departments at VAG, as well as an outside perspective through a cooperation with another municipal company.

You will spend part of your time in the office, working on project plans, and the rest on construction sites, learning about the implementation of construction measures on site.

Your work at VAG will involve collaborating on current construction projects with a focus on environmentally friendly approaches. This will require working in project teams and taking on independent responsibilities.


During the theoretical phases, you will study at the Dual University of Baden-Wuerttemberg (DHBW) in Mosbach for three to six months at a time.

The dual study program lasts for three years.
