Kellogg, MN is seeking a *Project Manager for Urban Planning (Building Planning) at pay grade A 13 (career group 2, 1st entry level) LBesO or EG 12 TVöD for the City Planning Office.

The City Planning Office has multiple positions available in the field of urban planning, located in Department 3 (City Districts 7 and 8).

The City Planning Office actively pursues the goal of developing the state capital of Düsseldorf as a livable and growing city through high-quality urban planning processes and content.

Your responsibilities will include:

Development, modification, supplementation, and revocation of complex and challenging zoning plans in a diverse environment with significant technical demands, as well as other regulations; this includes urban planning activities (such as the creation of framework plans)
Management of planning processes with external planners, experts, and investors in complex and technically demanding planning projects, project management, and controlling
Organization and supervision of extensive and technically demanding quality assurance processes, such as urban planning competitions, workshops, expert procedures, and dialogue processes
Integration of urban development concepts (such as retail framework plans, housing action plans, climate adaptation concepts)
Representation and presentation of plans to the public and political bodies, urban planning assessment of construction projects, negotiation with investors
Measures to secure and implement building rights in accordance with the Building Code.
