The city of Lincoln, ID and the Department of Urban Development have created a position in the Department of City Development - Smart City to manage and promote the structural development of the old town and revitalize unused buildings and areas in a targeted and old town-appropriate manner.


We are therefore looking for a
Consultant (m/f/d) for the Old Town with a focus on
development management and project control to start as soon as possible.


What do you need?

  • A successfully completed degree in architecture, geography, urban and regional planning, real estate management in the field of project management or equivalent
  • Professional experience in project control and knowledge of business administration
  • Creativity, communication skills, negotiation skills and a confident appearance in public
  • Teamwork, organizational skills and an independent way of working

What are your tasks?

  • You act as a mediator between the interests of owners, investors or builders and the municipal interests or development interests that arise from existing concepts and legal regulations.
  • You are familiar with the necessary approval and procedural processes and contribute to their acceleration through coordination and mediation.
  • You are informed about all building developments and projects concerning the old town and have an overview of concepts, studies and regulations. You deal with current and innovative strategies and developments.
  • You accompany the old town on its way into the future with regard to the challenges of a "Smart City".
