Description

As a train traffic controller, you will work in the signal box. From there, you will navigate train traffic and ensure a safe, punctual, and smooth train operation.

We are currently looking for you as a career changer for a retraining as a train traffic controller (m/f/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Berlin.

*This is what you can expect during your retraining:

The retraining takes place full-time (39 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical training sections
The theoretical training takes place at a central location, and your practical assignments will be as close to your place of residence as possible

The training classes consist of approximately 12 participants *After your retraining, you will take on the following tasks:

You will control train traffic on small, medium, or large signal boxes using levers, push buttons, and rotary switches or via the computer
You will set routes (track, switches, signals) for trains and ensure a safe departure, for example, from a train station
You will also be responsible for monitoring operations at train stations

Communicating and coordinating with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers will be part of your daily work routine *Your profile:

You have at least a (qualified) secondary school leaving certificate and a successfully completed vocational training, e.g., as a retail salesman, restaurant specialist, bakery sales
