Social Worker (m/f/d)

for a reception center for refugees

in full-time and part-time

milaa gGmbH is a 100% subsidiary of the Evangelical Diakonieverein Berlin-Zehlendorf e.
V.

and a cooperation partner of the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family and a recognized provider of youth welfare services.

The services currently include the operation of two day care centers, the care and accommodation in outpatient and inpatient forms of living according to SGB VIII, housing and homeless work, as well as the care of refugees at various locations in Berlin.

The milaa gGmbH currently employs a total of around 150 employees.


We are looking for several social workers (m/f/d) in full-time and part-time for our reception center Groscurthstraße Berlin-Buch, starting immediately - limited for the duration of the financing of the reception center by the LAF.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in social work, social pedagogy and management or social psychology, or a completed training as a social worker, or equivalent professional experience and knowledge in social work, pedagogy or counseling (6 years)
  • Ideally, first professional experience in working with refugees
  • Good network knowledge and knowledge of the range of services of important authorities, health insurance companies and other network partners
  • Very good knowledge of the German language, knowledge of a second relevant foreign language for the accommodation (preferably Russian, Turkish,
