Your training contents:
  • You store and ship goods of various kinds. You operate transport equipment and warehouse management systems.
  • You receive goods, unload, record them and store them properly.
  • At regular intervals, you check the inventory and also put together goods for further transport.
  • Before shipping, you pack and label all goods, create a loading plan and load the goods.
  • The standard training period is 3 years.
  • After completing your training and passing the final exam at the IHK, you will have a variety of opportunities in the logistics field.
You bring with you:
  • Successful completion of secondary school or preferably a higher school degree.
  • Good knowledge of the German language and good grades in natural science subjects.
  • Interest in an organizing and hands-on job, combined with the use of IT systems.
  • Enjoyment of independent work, but also of working within a team.
  • Confident and friendly demeanor, as well as good communication skills.
