Position Summary:

The
Infant Hearing Tech:

Performs hearing and/or middle ear screenings to individuals under the supervision of the Audiologist.
Provide counseling and recommendations to the individual and parents of babies who fail hearing screenings.
Perform followup hearing screenings, as indicated.
Maintain accurate and timely records of infant hearing screenings in medical record system.

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent.
A college degree in either speechlanguage pathology, audiology, or a related health field preferred but not required.

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.

Must be certified in CPR or obtain certification within 30 days of employment.

Experience:

Fluency in Spanish and/or ASL helpful but not necessary.
Experience working with infants and/or geriatrics a plus.
