The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a train driver (railway employee in operational service, specializing in train driving and transportation) (m/f/d) for DB Fernverkehr AG at our location in Lörrach.

The vocational school is located in Freiburg.

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

At the beginning of your training, you will learn what you need to pay attention to in order to safely and punctually drive trains from A to B.
Step by step, you will also be able to drive the trains yourself, with your trainers always by your side.
You will get to know many different routes through nature, cities, and train stations, all while enjoying the best view.
In case of any deviations or changes in train operations, you will learn how to inform our passengers through the loudspeakers.
You will also learn how our trains are prepared and put together for their journeys.
After your apprenticeship, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring our passengers have an environmentally conscious journey.
