We are currently seeking a Catholic Director of the Catholic Education Forum Rhein-Erft (m/f/d) for the Catholic Adult and Family Education in Rhein-Erft-Kreis, starting as soon as possible.


The Catholic Education Forum, in close cooperation with parishes, associations, and other church institutions, creates a diverse educational program for adults and families.

This includes lectures and seminars on theological topics, social and educational issues, as well as cultural education offerings. Other focuses include the training of volunteers and the integration of immigrants. Courses on career-oriented qualifications and media literacy are also offered.


The family education events address the many questions that arise in family life today: questions about raising children, maintaining successful partnerships and marriages.

Other courses focus on household management, nutrition, and healthcare.


Responsibilities:

  • Development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a challenging church program for adult and family education, in cooperation with community, association, and institutional partnerships (family centers, schools, Caritas)
  • Management of administrative processes
  • Leadership of educational staff and administrative personnel

Qualifications:

  • Completed university degree in Catholic theology (Master/Diploma) or a relevant field for the described tasks (e.g. pedagogy)
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
  • Several years of experience in church adult education
  • Innovative thinking combined with conceptual and strategic competence
  • Ability to handle stress, high performance, and flexibility with time
  • Organizational and business management skills for leading
