For the Finance department, Controlling division at Cornelsen Verlag, we are looking for a Business Controller (m/w/d) at our Berlin location, starting as soon as possible for a fixed term of 24 months and full-time.


Your responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibility is to act as a business partner for publishing product areas
  • This includes creating business cases (investment cases), providing impulses, identifying optimization potential, and giving recommendations for action
  • You support in planning regarding revenue and budget expectations, provide updates, and validate them
  • You regularly conduct result analyses and analyze deviations in terms of goal achievement; you communicate your analysis results in monthly reports and ad hoc requests
