For the Professional Oversight Department in Berlin, we are currently seeking a "Certified Public Accountant (m/f/d)" to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Handling professional oversight cases, including necessary communication with professionals, clients, prosecutors, and other institutions in the areas of accounting, auditing, and professional law
  • Presenting your work results to the board department responsible for making decisions on professional oversight measures
  • Implementing decisions (drafting decisions, closing letters, notifying complainants, etc.) and potentially participating in defending the case in court
  • Advising members of the Chamber of Public Accountants on technical and professional legal issues
Requirements

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in auditing, preferably demonstrated through a successfully completed CPA exam or several years of qualified work in the field of auditing
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting
  • Structured and independent work style
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Broad range of interests (including activities outside of the reserved area)
