Hands-on opportunity to join the highly dynamic, award-winning Marketing and Communications team of Philadelphia region's second largest (and growing) employer.
The Marketing Coordinator will join our fully integrated, in-house department and work alongside of some of the most respected healthcare marketing professionals in the region on a day-to-day basis.
In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will regularly collaborate with colleagues in Creative Services, Video and Audio Production, Public Relations, Content, Digital, Research, Events, Social Media, and more-working with them, end-to-end, to execute marketing campaigns, from the development of campaign concept, through delivery of compelling tactics.
While this position is situated with the Jefferson Health marketing unit, our department also serves the needs of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health Plans (lending plenty of opportunity for career growth over time).

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic full-service, in-house marketing department to develop, coordinate and execute marketing campaigns.
Our Marketing Coordinators support a growing marketing team and work closely with the design, content, digital, social, PR, media relations, events, and video teams to create exciting new concepts, deliver compelling tactics, and support and manage other projects.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for coordinating and managing marketing tactics to support the growth goals for the Jefferson Health as a member of the Marketing Department.
Working with Marketing Directors and other members of the Marketing team, responsibilities will include supporting in various marketing activities to drive brand awareness and consumer conversion and assist in the development and implementation of marketing projects, strategies and campaigns.
Flexible work model with the opportunity to work remotely and in-office.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work effectively in a complex organization to support and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a marketing project management platform and across multiple tracking, status and organizational documents.
- Collaborate with multiple team members and agency partners across a variety of projects and campaigns to execute tactics while tracking and maintaining timelines and project status.
- Meets with administrators, physicians and key personnel along with the marketing team to develop and execute various marketing initiatives.
- Provides support as needed to the department
- Interacts with coworkers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Work in our marketing project management platform to open, manage and execute marketing tactics across all types of online and offline marketing.
- Assist in the development of presentations including marketing plans, power points grids and Gant charts.
- Participate in project and campaign launches, status, and implementation meetings and develop status reports as needed.
- Contract with outside vendors as appropriate.
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 or more years of experience in marketing, preferably in a healthcare or marketing agency setting
- Additional Preferred Experience:
- Internship experience would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with marketing and advertising terminology, strategies and trends
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Proficiency in all standard Microsoft office programs and Adobe Acrobat
- Possess a process and detailoriented approach with a focus on delivering projects for clients
- Strong organizational and communication skills both oral and written
- Bringing a positive attitude, energy, flexibility and adaptability to the workplace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with marketing agency process and workflow is an advantage
